What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Find the different parts of a computer such as the power button, screen, keyboard and mouse
- Turn the computer on
- Recognise familiar icons on the screen
- Find the icon of the programme that they want to run and open it
- Move the cursor around the screen using a mouse
- Use a mouse or touch screen to activate an audio-visual stimulus on the computer
