What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Select a journey.
- State the purpose of the journey and the intended destination.
- State when the journey should take place.
- Decide on 3 different transport options for the journey.
- Identify the route for each transport option using a different type of map for each route if appropriate (e.g. google, road, bus, tube).
- Find out how long it takes for each transport option to reach the destination.
- Find out the likely cost of each journey.
