The learner will:
To be able to identify different religious buildings
To recognise religions have different ‘holy/spiritual’ symbols

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
State the location of three different places of worship from three different religions in own community. Visit these places if possible.
State three differences in the way the buildings look from the outside.
Research information about 2 different holy/spiritual symbols i.e. reason for having the symbol, what it means, history of the symbol.
From the research completed, describe each holy/spiritual symbol to an appropriate person.
