  2. Be able to clean a variety of kitchen implements using correct products or equipment

Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Select the correct cleaner and cleaning cloths
    • Use the correct products and materials to clean the work surfaces properly
    • Check that the work surface is clean
    • Safely fill the sink with hot water and add detergent
    • Put on rubber gloves and locate washing cloth
    • Clean and dry 4 items to include a cooking pan or dish, a piece of crockery, cutlery and a piece of glassware properly
