Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify the "On" switch on a familiar Smartphone.
- Use the "On" switch to turn on the Smartphone.
- Identify the phone icon and press it.
- Key in the phone number or select the friend from "Contacts".
- Press the call button.
- Place the phone to own ear and listen for the dial tone.
- Give an appropriate greeting when the phone is answered.
- Speak clearly to a familiar person.
- Respond to the voice on the phone.
- Give a finishing statement eg. 'goodbye' at the end of the conversation.
