The learner will:
Be able to choose an item to buy with an agreed amount of money.
Be able to pay for an item.

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
Decide on an agreed amount of money with an appropriate person.
Choose one item to buy in any retail outlet, e.g. shop, cafe.
Work out if there is enough money within the given amount by completing a simple calculation.
Select the correct coins to pay for the item.
Count out the coins to make sure that the correct price is paid.
Carry out the transaction with the cashier.
Count up any change to ensure that the correct amount has been received.
