The learner can:
- Identify the 3 specimens that could be tested to determine the alcohol level of a driver
- For each of the 3 specimens, record in micrograms the legal alcohol limit per 100 millilitres
- List 2 penalties that could be received by a driver who refuses to provide a specimen
- Explain how weight, age, sex, and metabolism can impact upon how alcohol affects an individual
- Explain why the type and amount of alcohol is an an important consideration for a driver deciding if they are fit to drive or not
- Explain how test results can be affected by what a driver has recently eaten
- Explain how personal stress levels can impact upon how alcohol affects an individual
