What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify the name of the test which is given to establish whether a driver is driving under the influence of drugs
- List the five stages of the drug driving test and briefly explain each stage
- Explain what happens if a driver performs the test poorly
- List the 3 penalties that a driver convicted of driving under the influence of drugs may receive
- Identify the number of years that will be shown on a driver's licence, should they be convicted of driving under the influence of drugs
