What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Demonstrate an understanding of the different types and nature of Public Institutions and Services in the UK.
Know about one Public Institution or Public Service in own local area.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- The main aim of the organisation.
- How it helps the local community/what type of service it provides.
- 3 different job roles within the organisation.
- Description of 3 tasks a typical job role in the organisation would have to do on a daily basis.
Identify a list of 3 Public Institutions.
Identify a list of 3 Public Services.
Describe to an appropriate person what each of the identified Institutions or Services does.
Complete either primary and/or secondary research into one Public Institution or Service to include information on;
Complete a short report with images to display own understanding of
