Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- describe three different textures when comparing different types of wool
- identify three samples of wool with different textures suitable for a pom pom
- use a ready prepared cardboard template to wind the wool around ensuring it is evenly spaced
- use scissors safely to cut the edges of the wool
- tie the pom pom firmly using matching wool (with help if required)
