What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Demonstrate being able to use a pair of 4.5 needles and some double knitting wool to cast on 40 stitches

    ​

    • Demonstrate being able to knit a row
    • Show that this can be repeated until the square is as long as it is wide (20cm square)
