Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Collect equipment ready for a wet shave eg. razor, foam or gel, towel
- Select an appropriate place for the shave to be carried out safely
- Put plug in sink, half fill with warm water, lay out shaving equipment and check mirror height
- Wet the face and neck area in preparation for the shave
- Apply an appropriate amount of shaving gel or foam on to the face and neck
- Safely use the razor to shave face and neck areas
- Rinse face and neck area with clean warm water and dry
