The learner can:
- Demonstrate clean presentation of self in the cafe wearing appropriate clothing
- State three occasions when hands must be washed in the cafe
- List five common ways that poor personal hygiene can spread bacteria
- List three illnesses which would make it inappropriate to handle food
- List four symptoms of an allergic reaction
- State four food items which commonly contain allergens
- State three First Aid steps to be followed if a customer suffers from anaphylactic shock
- On five different occasions, demonstrate five control measures used to prevent allergic reactions in the cafe
