The learner can:
- Explain how to wash hands using the six step technique.
- Explain the potential consequences of not washing hands and cleaning nails before / whilst preparing food.
- Identify and describe at least three personal hygiene rules and their purpose.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the rules by preparing to use the kitchen in the correct manner and describing why these rules are in place.
