Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • recognise and state days of the week or use symbols to show understanding of the day asked for by an appropriate adult
    • use words or symbols to correctly order the days of the week
    • produce a simple timetable showing 7 main events in their week (one for each day)
    • state the months of the year
    • use words or symbols to correctly order the months of the year
    • produce a simple calendar showing their own and their groups birthdays (4 dates in total), when the dates are given to them
    • state, on 3 occasions, how many weeks until a given event e.g. their birthday using their calendar
