Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- identify 4 shapes asked for by an appropriate adult
- identify 4 shapes given to them by an appropriate adult
- identify at least 3 different shapes within a drawing, model or object
- identify properties of 4 2D shapes e.g. number of sides, corners
- identify properties of 4 3D shapes e.g. number of faces, edges, corners
- identify features of shape properties e.g. if sides/edges are straight or curved, if they are of equal size or not, if a shape is regular/irregular
