Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Discuss with others how they use different ways to engage with the news across the week
- Survey a group of five people asking them how they access local, national and global news
- Show results using a graph or pictograph
- Identify at least four different types of news events eg school, local, national, world
- Produce a summary of the four different types of news event
- Reflect on whether the news stories affect them personally
