Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify, collect and justify which personal belongings are needed for a shopping trip (e.g. money, bag, coat, medication)
- Create a written list of items needed.
- Make their way to the shop
- Use a written shopping list to support shopping for items needed
- Choose two additional desired items from the shop and state their total cost
- Use shop signs to locate four items within the shop
- Listen to the cost of the bill and select and exchange the correct coins/notes (either exact or covering amount)
- Wait for till receipt and check it is correct
- Check change (if given)
