What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify the place value when adding two-digit numbers
- Add pairs of two-digit numbers with totals up to and including 99, using different methods
- Identify when pairs of two-digit numbers give odd totals and even totals
- Identify the place value when subtracting two-digit numbers
- Subtract pairs of two-digit numbers, using different methods
- Use addition to check accuracy of results
