Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Respond to prompts to find out about the favourite sports of people in the group
- Ask a question to learn information e.g. "what is your favourite football team?"
- Respond to a prompt to listen to the response of others
- Complete a tick chart to record the preferences of the group (with support where appropriate)
- Recognise 10 symbols relating to sports
- Read and match eight symbols e.g. football to goal, goggles to swimming pool
- Match letters to write the name of a sport or athlete
