Assessment criteria

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Demonstrate that they know how to follow the DRABC procedure in the event of an emergency
    • Demonstrate they can check all five areas on at least two occasions: Danger, Response, Airway, Breathing, Circulation 
    • Find an adult to help or use a phone by dialling 999
    • Ask for help in the event of an emergency and give appropriate details to the emergency services
