What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Discuss with others how they use different ways to engage with the news across the week
- Survey a group of five people asking them how they access news
- Show results using a graph or pictograph
- Identify at least three differnt types of news events e.g. school, local, national, world
- Produce a short summary of at least three different types of news event
- Identify how news stories affect them personally
