What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Read numbers to 6 on decorations or festival artefacts e.g. advent calendar, birthday candles, menorah candles
- Count items linked to a festival (up to 6)
- Recognise at least two basic 2D and 3D shapes in a range of festival themed items and patterns
- Make biscuits using different shaped cutters
- Create rangoli patterns
- Create a nativity scene discussing position of different components e.g. in front, behind, next to
