The learner can:
- Read numbers to 12 on decorations or festival artefacts in words and figures e.g. advent calendars, birthday candles, menorah candles
- From a given number to 12 identify the number before, after, one more and one less in the context of festival artefacts
- Solve simple number problems using addition (+) linked to festival food and cooking
- Count food items on plates and record
- Name two different 2D and 3D shapes in a range of festival themed items and patterns
- Design and make a Christmas wreath identifying and naming three of the shapes used
- Create a nativity scene discussing position of different components e.g. in front, in between, to the left, to the right
