The learner can:
- Count and write numbers to 99 in the context of nature and the environment e.g. temperatures, stock count of seeds, dates for harvest
- Solve a number problem using addition and subtraction e.g. if a sunflower grows 15 cm in week 1 and another 10 cm in week 2, how tall is it?
- Use repeated addition to explore multiplication in the context of nature and the environment
- Sequence the months of the year and identify each month within its season
- Use a thermometer to gauge the daily temperature and record in a chart that includes date and time
- Produce a chart to represent the weather over a period of time
- Identify 2D and 3D shapes within the environment
