What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Recognise and use different hardware eg. mobile phone, tablet, computer
- Use at least two different search engines to find information for work
- Edit, save, retrieve and review a piece of work
- Use a piece of software to meet a need or solve a problem
- Send and retrieve files to a printer
- Photocopy documents for two different purposes
- Use and explain purpose for text message, voicemail and on-screen information in the workplace
- Identify and correct errors in their work
- Produce work with images and text
- Receive and open electronic messages
- Locate important information from on-screen texts eg. emails, webpages
- Use different means to record information
- Adjust the format of information for different purposes in the workplace
