The learner can:
- Read and discuss a range of leaflets linked to local venues and amenities eg. Normanby Hall, 20.21, Museum, Well Being Hubs
- Identify verbs in reading material and explain what a verb is
- Use a dictionary to establish word meaning
- Use a writing frame to produce a report about a local amenity
- Use capital letters, full stops and question marks correctly
- Produce a bank vocabulary of twenty words related to the local area
