What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify three different modes of transport used in the local community
- Identify where on a pavement a pedestrian should walk to use it safely
- Identify where on a road a pedestrian should walk to use it safely
- State what traffic lights instruct a driver and a pedestrian to do
- State two items that can be used to help keep them safe as a pedestrian
- Demonstrate crossing a road safely
