Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Actively explore at least two local shops with a household shopping focus eg supermarket, pound shop, B&M, Wilko's
- Show an awareness of and respond to features within each shops eg displays, items for sale, pay points
- Communicate a like or a dislike to aspects of these experiences through known facial expressions, vocalisations, gestures or symbols.
- Explore a range of household items using objects and or photographs
- Make a list to show items to be purchased using symbols or photographs
- Identify which shops may sell the required items
