What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Actively explore at least two local shops with a household shopping focus eg supermarket, pound shop, B&M, Wilko's
- Identify key features of each shop using keywords or symbols as appropriate eg signage, checkouts, displays, staff uniform
- Explore a range of household items
- Make a list to show items to be purchased
- Identify which shops may sell the required items
