What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Use estimation to identify number of items in a group eg identify the picture that shows a group of about ten/five/three people, on at least two occasions
- Use estimation to identify similar sized groups of items eg identify the pictures that show groups of about five people, on at least two occasions
- Use estimation to identify smaller and larger groups of items eg identify the pictures that show the largest/smallest number of people, on at least two occ
- Identify a missing number in a variety of sequences of 0 to 10 on at least four occasions
