The learner can:
- Read and follow a piece of text containing at least 40 words on simple, familiar topics
- Identify at least three different sources of text eg newspaper, text book, email
- Identify differences in designs of text in at least three simple documents written for a different purpose
- Identify additional information included with text (illustrations)
