The learner can:
- Recognise and use a range appropriate hardware eg mobile phone, tablet, computer, interactive television, keyboard, mouse, touch screen, remote control
- Recognise and use interface features eg icons, menus, option-boxes
- Use a search engine to find a piece of information related to the work place
- Edit, save, retrieve and review a piece of work
- Use and explain the purpose for text messaging, voicemail and on-screen information in the workplace
- Identify and correct simple errors in a message
- Label an image
- Receive and open an electronic message
- Locate important information from on-screen texts eg emails, webpages
- Use two different means to record information
- Send information to someone in the workplace using two different means
