- Use phonetic cues when attempting to read unknown words
- Demonstrate accurate, consistent use of phase two letter sounds
- Spell the days of the week in relation to when events are occurring
- Talk about a recent event or form of entertainment they have experienced and recall key facts
- Name and sequence the days of the week when discussing events and forms of entertainment
- Write a list of people to invite to a planned event
- Count snacks onto a plate and cups or cutlery on the table when preparing for a planned event - numbers to 10
