What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    •  Identify at least three suitable dishes from a selection
    • Choose one sweet and one savoury dish to prepare
    • Demonstrate knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene during food preparation
    • Demonstrate correct and safe use of at least two kitchen utensils when preparing food
    • Serve each dish with a garnish
