Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify at least three suitable dishes from a selection
- Choose one sweet and one savoury dish to prepare
- Demonstrate knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene during food preparation
- Demonstrate correct and safe use of at least two kitchen utensils when preparing food
- Serve each dish with a garnish
