What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- State the difference between a main meal and a snack
- Identify at least five different main meals they could prepare for a week
- Identify the ingredients required for at least five different main meals
- Calculate the amount of each ingredient required
- Identify which section within a supermarket each of the ingredients can be found
- Create a list of ingredients, categorising by section
