Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Collect the tools that are needed from the storage area and handle them safely
- Choose the most appropriate tool needed to complete a specific task
- Clean the tools and return them to the storage area after they have been used
- Choose which plants they would like to grow
- Sow seeds in a tray and care for them regularly
- Prepare the ground in the allotment ready for the plants that have been grown
- Grow and care for plants over a period of time
