- Identify the correct timetable needed for their journey
- Identify the journey details; eg where they want to travel to
- State the starting point of their journey; eg bus stop location; train or tram stop
- State where they are travelling to
- State what time they are starting their journey
- State what time they should arrive at their destination
- State the return destination
