What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Be able to change over a sanitary towel and place the used one in an appropriate place.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- State when they need to change their sanitary towel; eg after several hours; before bedtime
- Find a new towel and state how to use it; eg remove wrapping; place sticky side down into underwear
- Unwrap the towel and fit into underwear correctly
- Dispose of soiled towel in a hygienic manner
