The learner can:
- Identify three steps of self-hygiene required before carrying out meal preparation
- Explain why these steps of self-hygiene are important
- Demonstrate the correct procedure for hand washing
- Carry out at least two other identified hygiene routines eg tie hair back, remove jewellery, wear an apron
