Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify the correct coin or note most appropriate to cover the cost of the items
- Identify where more than one coin can be used to make a payment ·
- Compare two items and find the best deal for at least two items
- Work out the change for the transaction.
- Find items from a list in a shop, looking in different places for specific items
- Read whole number prices eg pence, pounds on shop shelves and compare prices
- Pay for items using two different methods e.g self service, cashier
- Use a range of notes and coins to pay for items
