Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Find and show a selection of recycled materials which are safe to use to create dog agility obstacles
- Explain why each material would be suitable for the construction of agility obstacles
- Show three items of recycling which are not suitable to use in creating dog agility obstacles
- Explain why these would not be suitable for the construction of agility obstacles
- Create a design for weaving obstacles and identify the materials to be used
- Create a design for a jump over obstacle and identify the materials to be used
- Create a design for an obstacle for a dog to go under and identify the materials to be used
- Check each design with an appropriate person to assess suitability before creating the obstacles
