Learning outcomes
What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Be able to measure out the correct quantity of feed for their dog.
Be able to give their dog their food at the correct time, in a safe manner.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- State the correct weight of feed for their dog to maintain a healthy weight
- Show how to zero the scales with the empty bowl on it with support if required
- Demonstrate adding the correct weight of feed to the bowl with support if required
- Demonstrate giving the dog their meal, for every meal, for an agreed amount of days
