Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Create a table, outlining the developmental changes of puppies between the neonatal stage, the transitional stage and the socialisation stage of puppy development
- Use the table to describe what a puppy can and can't do for themselves at each stage as well as the social, emotional and physical development
- Create a mind map outlining the equipment, environment and social interaction they would ensure a puppy has during their neonatal stage to support puppy development
- Explain why they have chosen at least five of the items and how they would be beneficial to a puppy at this development stage
