What the learner needs to know, understand or be able to do
The learner will:
Be able to plant seeds.
Care for a plant while it is growing.
Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Follow instructions to collect and prepare equipment for planting seeds
- Plant at least two different types of seed
- Identify steps needed to plant a seed
- Identify what is needed for a plant to grow from a choice of options
- Look after plants while they are growing by following instructions
- Transplant plants to larger pots or outside area
