Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Use balancing scales to measure weights
- Use non-standard units to measure capacity
- Add more or take away to make bigger or smaller amounts
- Compare the weight or capacity of items directly
- Carry out cooking activities for a given length of time stopping when the time is finished
- Carry out cooking activities and stop when asked
- Use vocabulary linked to time when cooking i.e. 'ready', 'fast', 'finished'
