The learner can:
- Select at least two correct items of PPE that are needed when using the pillar drill
- Demonstrate that they can get ready for work, independently
- Name at least three parts of the machine
- Watch a demonstration on how to use a pillar drill
- Participate in at least two activities using the pillar drill
- Experience how to secure the piece of work
- Experience how to change the drill bit
- Experience how to change the height of the machine table
