What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome

The learner can:

    • Select at least two correct items of PPE that are needed when using a belt sander
    • Demonstrate that they can get ready for work, independently
    • Name at least three parts of the machine
    • Watch a demonstration on how to use the belt sander
    • Participate in at least two activities using the belt sander
    • Experience how to hold the piece of work
    • Experience how to change the position of the machine table to create angles
