What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Select at least two correct items of PPE that are needed when using a belt sander
- Demonstrate that they can get ready for work, independently
- Name at least three parts of the machine
- Watch a demonstration on how to use the belt sander
- Participate in at least two activities using the belt sander
- Experience how to hold the piece of work
- Experience how to change the position of the machine table to create angles
