The learner will:
Understand some of the key differences between the sun, planets and moon.
Explain in simple terms how humans can travel into space.

What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Create a picture or model of the solar system and label the sun, moon and Earth
- Group pictures of the moon in different phases and recognise them all as the same moon
- Give a reason for why the sun is important to life on Earth
- Identify a rocket in a picture or video
- Identify someone who travels to space as an astronaut
