Assessment criteria
What the learner need to demonstrate in order to meet the learning outcome
The learner can:
- Identify what LGBT+ stands for
- Explain what some of the terms are
- Identify whether it is legal to be gay in the UK and if it has always been legal
- Identify at least five countries of the world in which it is illegal to be gay
- With support, state whether gay couples can legally be married in the UK
- With support, identify whether it has always been legal in the UK for gay couples to have civil partnerships
